This is Somalia. Please spread the message of their struggle. I think by seeing this picture and the helplessness in this mother’s expression, we can admit that this is her worst nightmare; knowing her child is going to die before her very own eyes. They are dying of hunger. Let me tell you something, everytime you say “Wow, I am starving to death”, well you aren’t. If you were “starving” you would have the same painful expression. Look at that child’s body, his clothes are hanging off of him. You need to see and know this because this is what is happening in the real world. You think boyfriends, loosing weight and grades are the biggest problem in your life? Well if you tell this lady that, then I’m sure she would laugh in your face.
