Life

Life, definitely have a way of slapping you with reality. Rather it is good or bad, it will always be present. Through my journey I have experienced hurt in a past relationship. This relationship was false truths which in return dis colored my roots and eventually brought out not only my true colors but their true colors as well. it is amazing how God place certain ones in your life as a blessing and you have those who was simply a lesson. This past relationship (not official) was an illustration of what a relationship will eventually turn to when there is a lack of communication. Feelings, emotion, soul tides, (sex...lies, truths, etc) all those issues can disable you if you allow it to. however when it is all said and done and you have gone throught the storm. Been hurt, went through a trail of confusion, you asked the "why me" or "why" question...It's about who you really are. better yet the question you will pose to yourself is, Do I really know who I am? knowing who you are come through Christ Jesus. Being able to identify with his suffering and take up your cross & forgive those who hurt is the ultimate step to moving forward. Once your able to connect your story/your testimony to Christ. it is then you are able to gain your freedom. rather if it is vowing to be celibate or single...Whatever it is get closer and build a relationship with Christ. That's all he wants. Let's humble ourselves and devote more time to God. No one never said being a follower of Christ (Christian) is easy!

I came across this video on my Sistar blog page and I to found this video to be interesting. As she stated, rarely do you hear entertainers speak up about Celibacy and its' connection to God. This is amazing and profound. Encouraging as well. being a young woman in society today. Be Blessed.

God is love

the essence of god's love

"[Y]ou have to be delivered from your obsession to be loved and honored and be consumed with a greater desire for God to be loved and honored…and when you get liberated from your incessant need to be loved and honored, you can actually live with this new consuming desire to see God loved, to see God honored. So the ruling desire of your heart is to see the Father loved and exalted, like Jesus lived to see the Father loved and exalted.
That is the key to your joy and your freedom."

indirectly calling someone racist

Is it possible to refer to someone as a racist in an indirect manner?

Yes it is! The proper term is an Aversive Racist. According to (encyclopedia.com), an aversive racist or (racism) is form of contemporary racism that manifests at the individual level. Compared to the traditional form of racism, aversive racism operates, often unconsciously, in subtle and indirect ways. People whose behavior is characterized by aversive racism (aversive racists) sympathize with victims of past injustice, support the principle of racial equality, and regard themselves as non prejudiced, but at the same time they possess negative feelings and beliefs about blacks or other groups. It is hypothesized that aversive racism characterizes the racial attitudes of many well-educated and liberal whites in the United States, as well the attitudes of members of dominant groups toward minority groups in other countries with strong contemporary egalitarian values but discriminatory histories or policies. Despite its subtle expression, the consequences of aversive racism are as significant and pernicious as those of the traditional, overt form (e.g., the restriction of economic opportunity).

We need to begin to consciously connect the dots. Question ourselves, our actions, and attitude towards others. Is it a bias factor? Or are certain groups concerned about the past and how their ancestors was treat unequally, the injustices brought upon them and the institutionalized terrorism, oppression and inhuman treatment. Are we unconsciously prejudice or consciously prejudice? Maybe it's a sense of pride we uphold as being apart of a certain group.
