Came across this inspirational interview conducted by Sasha Kelly. Queen's D Light is a cinematic Griot, who is excited about the new art movement dispersing through the San Francisco Bay Area. In the interview, she mentions "Modern Day African Life in America" a term which is beginning to fulfill itself through the Black & Brown community of the San Francisco Bay Area.
